As we all know that the Mumbai Local train 2 by 2 (2x2) compartment is very famous for all these activities.
It is the gents compartment towards CST side or Churchgate side, next to luggage compartment. The entire compartment has 3 doors. But middle door (also called 2 by 2) is one where action takes place during rush hour. Just stand somewhere and start cruising you will surely get someone over there. It is famous compartment for male to male fun. So whenever you travel in Central Suburbs always catch 2x2 compartment and enjoy touching and fun in the crowd.
I am sure most of us are daily travelers of Mumbai Local train.

@samira yes. Even when train is crowded action can be seen by person standing between the seats. Lot of guys r not aware of it & indulge in the action. I myself have seen many times. Hence when I want to indulge in action, I doubly check that the scene is fully covered from all sides. |

I totally agree, Chivalrous. Last week I was in Mumbai, I have travelled 10 times both on Western and Central, from Bandra and Kurla in all directions. I saw no action at all, many women as well, my gaydar was all the times totally off. I had fun on trains several times in the past, but these times I particularly paid attention to board the right coach. But nothing, nothing at all. It definitely was not peak time, but all trains were crowded. Major disappointment. |

At times one can see multiple guys looking for action but it doesn't take place. Just experinced this scenario yesterday evening. There were 8 guys who are regular faces in 2x2 but none those were seen in action. Probably they all didn't get right match. |

This happened on one fine day last month. I was in crowded train; standing in corridor & leaning against the partition. Was scanning through the crowd getting in at every station but couldn't find any one of my type. Then came nahur station & this guy boarded. About 26-27 yrs old slightly shorter than me, wheatish slim body. While he was getting in, we had eye contact & probably got the hint. Initially, he was standing bit away from me but then he managed to wade through the crowd & stand next to me by the time train reached Thane. Now we started to exchange eye contact frequently. Sometime u not expect anything... And get more then something... This has happened with me day before yesturday.. I was at kurla and on 7:12 pm...Thane last of 7:05 has arrived (towards Thane). Generally I felt thane train is very less happening and movement of people is much as its slow train.
However I got boarded as I was in hurry... I entered with non expectation and stood in right in side corner of opposite door. Since train is super crowded I put my both hands on handel and struggled to adjust myself because the space was very less...
Then the movement has begain and it was like chakkar fad ke.. From kurla to thane... I was touched by 6-7 diffrent people... And on one movement 3 guys are enjoying together surrounding to me and tried to push myself as well between them...a movement also came one bushing my thing and one my private part and simultaneously one grabbing my bums as well...
That 3 boys moving very shamelessly and the surrounding already knows wht ia going on there... That shamelessness was totally annoying... Being a side and A shy guys I not took much involvement in any movement...yaah but when I got off at thane I talk with a boy whose name S.... And made feel him better...
Ultimately.... Yes 2x2 is happening place...there is no pattern or specificness... |

I am not aware about precovid situation...just came mumbai last year... And I was travelling in 2x2 casually. But yaa yesturday I found that some people know each other and greeting together and try to adjust people and come closure to each other ,,,, i think they want to shake hands..😌😛 |

Again on friday evening...I took 7:05 pm thane train from kurla...train was super crowded and I had to go inside..but after passing vikroli I made little space at left doors left side and stood... I again found some reguler faces and I know they doing action in down side... There are 3-4 person who knows each other (as like I know them😜) they enjoying and talking to each other as well and I was just standing and looking toward them after time brake... Once Nahur has passed..one of them has came near to me and started to field... I made eye contact with one eleder person and he also try to show off some sign by touching his nipple...the guy near me also rubbing his nipple and he want I should do that with him...
And I was just watching them....when thane station was close all of them came close to me... And once station started I turn from side to row to board off from train...the elder person came fast behind me and tried to touch from behind...but with in 2-3 second of his touch I just went down...but he was following me...touched my hand ...and I think he want to say something...but as a shy, naturiest and side guy... I not stopped or talk with him...he followed me from plt.1 to plt 2and then went back...

Though no one can assure on 2*2 action, chances are higher in crowded trains in any travel direction. If u r travelling from ghatkopar to kalyan in evening, try crowded slow trains after 6.45 pm. In the morning try trains between 8 & 9 am. |

As a westerner visiting Mumbai 5/5 times per year, I had my good take of fun on trains, not even on 2x2. So Vishal Kumar might be wise, but if you board a train (good luck with that!) which is full, expect to be touched all the way, regardless of the coach. Then you may discretely extend your hand(s). |

I have never traveled by local. Wanted to try today so went to Goregaon station, took second class and first class tickets to bandra.
Got confused which platform to go, which is the 2*2 compartment.
Gave up my tickets to someone travelling that way and came back.

I boarded the train from Churchgate back home. It was mildly crowded till Dadar came about and the 2x2 compartment filled up.
