As we all know that the Mumbai Local train 2 by 2 (2x2) compartment is very famous for all these activities.
It is the gents compartment towards CST side or Churchgate side, next to luggage compartment. The entire compartment has 3 doors. But middle door (also called 2 by 2) is one where action takes place during rush hour. Just stand somewhere and start cruising you will surely get someone over there. It is famous compartment for male to male fun. So whenever you travel in Central Suburbs always catch 2x2 compartment and enjoy touching and fun in the crowd.
I am sure most of us are daily travelers of Mumbai Local train.

I will share my today's experience coz it was very nice. I was traveling back from Dadar. I boarded, went inside, and took the stand towards the guy sitting third. @Rustedankles From Churchgate/Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus side, the first coach is of ladies which is then followed a luggage compartment and then the general coach starts dominated by men. In this coach, there are 3 entry/exit doors parallel to each other. So the middle door here is called 2x2 dabba. |
