Self Acceptance & Emotional Support
One of the hardest phases in a gay person's life is self acceptance. It is a battle that most of us have to fight alone. While some of us finally win the fight, a large number of persons lose it.
Knowing that I'm gay and accepting myself as gay was actually completely different. I was already struggling with my sexuality when I watched the movie "Dear Zindagi". There in a scene, Alia asked a gay boy "Why do you visit your therapist? Is it so that you can tell people that you're gay?" The boy replied "No, so that I can tell MYSELF that I'm gay"
That's when I realised the importance of self acceptance and started working out for that. It took me long to finally accept myself. But I think it would've been easier and faster if I could talk to someone.
So how was/is your experience? Pose share them. Your story can inspire many others like you.
And also to the ones still struggling, if you want to talk to someone, feel free to reach me. I can be the non-judgemental ear when you can still be anonymous.

@Rohan126 - Absolutely wrong observation you have bro. Sorry dude. Mostly here are married ones and I must say a married man can;t be a part of fnf(*** and forget) game. Becuase everytime he has to think for his privacy and same time seeking another mate is a problem. I would rather prefer a married man, who also wants a long term discreate relationship. |

Another thing that I have noticed in Indian gay community is that majority of Indian gays are bottoms. Very few are tops. And even the tops are not actual gay gay tops. They are just *** desparate men who want to put their *** in any hole. They don't even consider themselves to be gay. The Indian gay tops don't know how to pleasure the bottom's body. In all the western gay *** movies the top licks and tongue fucks the bottom's ***. In *** movies the bottom's *** is treated like a woman's ***. But Indian tops don't want to eat ***. |

Self acceptance and emotional support is a big necessary part of lgbtq community.
In india it is more important and necessary to most of the sissy femme cd's and bottoms . They are treated and used by many bi acting straight guys for temporary pleasure and don't care about their partner's feelings. I have mostly seen cd's struggling to accept and explore their femme side. There are lot of stories on this website about how people were used , cheated and bullied, but majority of the victims belong to this group. Be confident and get professional help if you are in a bad place. It's not a taboo to seek help or be lgbtq.

Be a gay! Trans bi lesbian. You should able to stand for yourself! None is going to support you specially the parents (that's not why they gave birth to you).
It's the community who can support and behind you as back always! |

I think empathy is one characteristic which most Indians lack.
We never stand up for our poor, our environment, against corruption, against criminal terrorist politicians.
That's why most demographics suffer alone and in silence, we never stand up for anyone and no one stands up for the other in return. As a result we lonely non-heterosexual men keep our hearts and minds caged with the fears that if we ever allowed ourselves to feel/be who we truly are it'll lead to problems in this regressive society.
Even on this site I rarely come across comments that talk about support, or building a community, to offer each other shoulders to stand on. Maybe if more of us stood up we wouldn't have to live such pathetic secretive lives.
Jaisya chal raha hai chalne do, kyu sahi kaha na bhailog?
Anyway, kudos to the men here or wherever who offer support or kind words. Text me if you need to talk deep or feel better sometimes. And I don't mean sexting. |

Just like any others I too have a lot of confusion and acceptance issues. 1. Was kind of sure that I'm gay and I'm only attracted to men, but when the family started forcing to get married, started thinking what if I'm bi. From then I'm still confused😕 2. Even after telling the family that I'm not into women , my family is behind me to get married. 3. I'm stuck in what to choose in my life, my happiness or parents, whatever I choose I don't want to regret, but it's not an easy task. 4. Started talking to a psychiatrist , he suggests to think and first decide what I need in my life, and accept myself. Don't worry about what others think or their happiness. But I'm unable to decide anything.
I'm kind of stuck in a deadlock situation 😥😥

Even i had that confusion whether i am straight or gay or bi.But as time passed by,and with self awareness and self realisation, finally i reached a point where i discovered that i am more comfortable and attracted to men.My individual opinion is men are more trustworthy than women.I would just say that Just be true to your innerself[Soul].If one does that than there is clarity of mind and body, and then there is no confusion. Just be yourself and do what you love ,but with pure heart. |
