The most difficult issue we gays face is getting a place. Since most of us cannot host, place becomes a difficulty. For bonding, intimacy too is necessary.
I would therefore like to know if there are any gay frien dly lodges or hotels in Mumbai which provide rooms to local guys for short time (knowing that we are localites) and are cost effective at the same time.
I am sure I am asking this question of behalf of many guys of our community.
Please share your info wholeheartedly.

Yatri hotel in malad. Is nice and cheap.
Also there r lot of lodges at aksaa beach and manori beach. All in malad.
Try it and shear ur experience. |

Just to save cost of Lodge, i had been to Aarey milk colony and Borivali national park jungle in the past. As guys had bike it was convinient for us to and come back.
There are lot of rooms at Kalamb beach, Nallasopara west, Lot of college guys and people who have extra martial affairs take their girfriends there for ***. They charge around 300 approrx for 2 hours. But i have never seen gays going there,
But Gay party happens in one of the resorts here were i go sometimes.

There used to be national hotel in khar west. It used to be approx 2k fir day...I tried *** with staff of hotel as well and wid my friebds aa well..not sure if it exists or not...staff will readily join for fun on pretext of massage ..they have guys from darjeeling n north..all un early twenties |

reviving this thread. Any clean/decent hotels/lodges which don't ask too many questions or look at you suspiciously? And I dont mean those lodges which grant room by hours. Either a full day or overnight.
specially north mumbai...borivali n nearby

There r many hotels in manori beach side who give rooms for 12 hour and they just ask for a I'd card...so if u r planning for a overnite stay the to. ING is from 6 pm to 8 am |

there are rent places available in mumbai navi mumbai and thane side where v can go with your friends and enjoy
in ghansoli and other places , guys who have financial problems gives their place on rent for hour basis
safe place
just go their pay and enjoy without any kind of distrurbance
i know one guy in ghansoli

Hi All,
No lodge in Mumbai, would disturb you, if you have paid for the room. Just do not make it public. You can pretend that you are from outside Mumbai.
Most lodges would require a photo id, to give you a room.
You can pretend that you have invited some people for interview, so that you can enjoy with more than one ..
After each "interview" get dressed up and go to reception or call for room service or go and get the next man waiting..
This way you can share the room rate too.
Man.. this is so safe, and don't have to go to dirty places like loo and be under pressure .. |

There are loads of small time hotels on the lbs road between sion and kurla who charge 300 for an hr. . Again you got to be careful with your behaviour in open .. don't make it a obvious to the crowd just book your room call your partner and have fun |

If It is 1 on 1 with a local person, then why not try the app or site "www.stayuncle.com" this is for unmarried couples to get a room even with local Id's.
Plus since section 377 became legal there are some (not all) hotels who even cater to same *** couples. And they come for all budget sizes, the lowest is Rs.2000 and highest Rs.15000.
I am sure 2 people can split the amount. Plus they also provide a Love Kit if you book from the App or Website after completing your login.
Just dont break Hotel rules and have fun all you want. But yeah not group ***. |

I have used Fabhotels, Treebo etc with local IDs... You do get the looks from the reception staff but once you overcome that they are not intrusive. |

Cruising here is not like in any western country - unless you are looking for just friendship - Indians still have very traditional and conservative mindset and do not readily accept gays in mainstream society - any PDA outdoors is a strict no-no - though at certain spots you get to meet gays- surely you do not want to indulge in any sexual act in shabby theaters or smelly toilets or behind trucks - even if you are inviting someone to your hotel room be doubly sure - unless you want a mess up with local cops - meet up and make a few gay friends - yes but, think a thousand times before jumping in bed with anyone - enjoy your stay!😍 |

Also if you are putting in good hotel, you may explore Sauna/Gym/Swimming pool. You may also try hotel massage. However, as all said in the group, be cautious as there being non local, you run more risk of getting trapped or harassed. |

I partially agree with the comments here. Yes, it is pretty unsafe for a foreigner in Mumbai to cruise alone since a lot of these areas are secluded and attract anti social elements along with cruisers so your personal safety should most definitely be a priority. However, if you still choose/decide to cruise I would suggest you take some time to match with someone on Grindr or PR and get to know them or find someone you can trust. Once you have such a partner you can ask them to accompany you to cruising places. That way, you can cruise at places you want and even if you don't find someone at the cruising spot, at least you have your partner to have some outdoor fun with.
The final call is totally upto you, sticking to Grindr or PR is also a safe way to have fun but sometimes you need that thrill of getting frisky outdoors.

And when I spoke of "cruising", I really thought that going to public toilets or places with dim light at night for example, that they did not represent such a great danger for a caucasian foreigner... but hey, if you think i shouldn't do it, then I will think about it cautiously.

You're safe in a good hotel. I would NEVER suggest cruising for a white Caucasian as you'll stand out and invite TROUBLE ! as others have mentioned, make few trustworthy friends and take it from there. Bienvenue a l'inde :) |

@kulala.... I'm from Mumbai and I personally don't prefer OYO Hotels... Always go with 4 or 5 star hotel.... They are safe!
If you want to call someone at night then first call the person to hotel restaurant and then go to your room....

Oyo is better for a quick one night stand and stuff since its fairly affordable(Hence people prefer to book them for hookups). Most do lack good service though. Chains like Hilton or Ibis and stuff are pretty good options if you're looking for a good stay. They are pretty safe and have better service and amenities
Ofcourse keep your dating apps active while you're here. Lots of users here
Also make sure you get the part about visitors checked with the reception though. I usually check on different websites. Hotels usually have their visitor policy mentioned somewhere. In some cases depending on how the hotel is you wont even have to deal with the reception lol |

now coming to you crusing point.. a Big NOOO. its not even safe for locals leave alone foreigners. There are buggers. thieves and gangs.. who will loot u and leave u in deep trouble. i am not scarring. but making u cautious.
Just do grinding. the best and safe option. Mumbai is bustling city with lots n lots of guys in every nook and corner.. u will get many.. being a foreigner u will get lots of request.
also pls stay in 4-5 star hotels only. there are many in mumbai. although price may be on higher side but safety n privacy is great.

I go for any cheap hotel and make sure to ask them upfront if they'd allow multiple male visitors. They're quite open minded and accepting specially in Mumbai and wouldn't cause you problems when visitors visit you if you tell them upfront that you're going to have multiple visitors throughout the day. Female and old receptionists though are prudes and judgey. In my experience, young men staff is understanding. |
