Well, it's literally all of it. The part near the university/ High Court tends to be busier with "cruisers"; but that's largely because a group of 'she males' do their trade there. Some of them solicit guys & take them behind the trees which border the ground.

I have usually gone after 8 PM.
Look, there's no 100% guarantee you'll find someone you'll like.
One has to wait & cruise.
Initially I thought cruising is on only the side near Cooperage (Univ); but it happens on both sides of the maidan. Yesterday was in the middle of the part near Cooperage side.
Risk is there, can't deny. Have seen cops patrol earlier on. There are some elements wandering around, who could be undesirable.
I also had a enuch chase me long time back. Also an unfortunate case where I approached a hunk who then became threatening.
