Narcissism as such is self egotistic appreciation of one's own self attributes.. We as gay men admire a lot of attributes on other men but we do take pride on something(s) about our ownselves too..
Don't limit your answers to just physical attributes which you admire in you but also any personality traits you admire yourself for.. Curious to know how we value our ownselves..

Well, I'm not sure about writing narcissistic behavior of myself. A few days back I saw what looked like my dream boy and I just did the usual thing, to message him. The response put me in total shock as he started abusive words and questioning me if I saw myself in mirror and how ugly I was. He added further his body was meant for handsome hunks and I dare not bother disturbing him. I felt extremely insulted, but didn't care because it wasn't my problem and it was his narcissistic behavior and superiority complex, I'm sure he'll learn his lesson the hard way. People like you (Valentine's), gayspark, pandi1980, introvert, sasmathu are epitome of decency and maturity. I'm sure it takes time for the rest to go through in life what it needs to attain such levels of good behavior. Narcissistic behavior is badly attributed to bad parenting, who failed from their duty. |

I do believe almost everyone has a living physcho within. Few are liked by others and rest are our practical examples. I know how I looks. Since in someone's standard measure, we may fall in last category. But it doesn't mean I m not smart. I literally went to tears, when a blind person kissed and said that I am the most beautiful person in the world. The people with eyes are judging with our profile pics and likes, comments we received. I always wonder, we see some hot hunks in FB with many likes and comments. But still what they are searching in Grindr and PR?!. I have been cheated, rejected, but at the same time I have been appreciated and cherished. There are still people around me, who see only what I succeeded and achieved, What I deserve. So the attitude abt looks come by maturity. Lot of people are highlighting their physo's over their own personality and eventually understand life with karma. So let's live simple š |

I just asked when you look at yourself in the mirror what do you admire in you... Leave alone the physical attributes any of your personality traits which you take pride on..,

@guru - What happened with you was quite sad but i think that guy was probably suffering from low self esteem.Such people find their esteem from pulling other people down.
When I was younger I admired āsmart intelligentā people as I am growing older I admire ākindā people. Physical attributes are good for one time hook up but more often people get attracted to whatās inside of us. But then that realisation comes only with time and maturity. |

What I admire about me when I see in mirror ?
Physical attributes
* My height - I am taller than average and so i feel I always get a better edge. ;) while wearing an ethnic outfit like a long Kurtha or sherwani my talker frame gives me a little pride ;)
* My Dimple - This dimple on my right cheek has been my unique identity ever since I was a kid. Still love certain photographs where my dimple is evident.
Personality traits:
* My communication or rather more precisely my articulation skills..
* (not sure) but at times I feel I am congenial.. |

My biggest asset I feel is my smile.... many say it's quiet infectious smile. Also my deep eyes, many regular people have commented openly about my eyes. So any person I have met so far have never failed to mention these two attributes which I don't know if very special. But other than that I love my butt n thighs feel so *** when I show myself off to the mirror. That's my naughtiest n horniest asset I guess. Many people say my voice is different n unique so these all I cherish |

Well to look into the mirror the first thing which i admire is my big eyes and naturally trimmed eyebrows. But apart from that there is nothing much which i can take pride off with respect to my physical beauty. Then comes my degrees. I have five degrees to my credit and have always stood class first (and university first). My intelligence (LOL), subject knowledge, analytical skills, independent thinking, my self esteem, ability to put up with dire conditions, etc. In generally people say I am a sweet person but soon they also realize that i am a no nonsense guy. |

Physical attraction :
My eye balls which have some grasping power
My smooth body.Though it is not gym toned/well built it is somewhat defined
My little tummy which doesn't look wierd
Most importantly, length of my fingers in hand (length is higher than usual length of other men)
On the whole, I am not a handsome hulk but a simple and normal looking guy in terms of physical appearance.
Other attraction:
Talkative in nature.Easily mingle with any sort of people
Very expressive (I usually pour out my feelings whether it may be anger,sad, happy to anyone)
Straight forward (will not butter anyone just becoz I need favour or anything)
Studious (first in class since from childhood and university topper too)
My degree ( very rare degree.... Till now valentine is the only person who was aware of it.99% of people will ask me if there is such course in India...LOL)
My perseverance towards anything and determination (sometimes stubborn š)
Curiosity to learn anything and quick learner (@cherry blossom - Hindi tutor ...ha ha)
Maintaining a good network (greetings to my few friends when I wake up)

Of late we are getting more and more psychological topicsā¦itās quite interesting! I enjoyed reading every single post in this thread.
I have sharp eyes, deep voice & a photogenic face. In general, I do not give much importance to my physical attributes, nor do I to those of others.
I am an animal lover and became a vegetarian many years ago due to that. A very introverted and equanimous person. I am such a lazy guy that many times I donāt even think; too lazy to even think. I have half a dozen degrees, but none of those degrees have taught me anything about real life nor were they really helpful in facing the real life issues, hence I donāt really value them much, they just added some materialistic and professional value in my life, thatās it.
I am both a dreamer & a practical person, with my one leg firmly on the earth and the other leg always facing & measuring the sky, like the trivikrama avatar of Vishnu. I somehow try to balance without falling down. Lol.

I have a very good repo wherever I go. My workplace, gym, casual chill buddies. But deep down under I have a little narcissist evil inside me. When I look myself at the mirror, I can say, I look better than most of the guys I see on streets. I work out, so I have a good physique at my age of 40. But I try myself to be very polite and carry myself well whenever Iām on a date. I do judge people based on their dressing sense and how they take care of their body. I try myself hard to not behave rudely to anyone because I fear karma. |
