Though I've never been to one, I've heard of Gay friendly resorts along Ecr where private parties happen.. If anyone planning to host, count me in ;-) |

Guys. It will never happen how you think. Leaving a comment here to be invited or informed, no one will bother to call you by doing an extensive research and doing data collection. Rather, if we're so serious, someone must share details of hosting if they have a safe place mentioning to reach them. Unless the person who's willing to host give an open invitation, nothing will work. And it's useless to keep commenting to be invited. |

I used to private messages in planetromeo by the name "chennai - dost" mostly they won't reveal the venue.. Since it was too discreet .. I never ventured to try those .. I started to thread to find out if any of you guys have been to such parties.. How decent is the crowd ? Safety ? |

Private parties do happen, and they are private. These are exclusive parties of like minded people which most of then times involves orgies in someone's bungalow/guest house...invitations are selectively sent after checking the antecedents of the people or a group of known friends can organize and one of them can host. I had a friend here in PR who mentioned to me that such parties happen on ECR in some guest houses but invitations are usually restricted for obvious reasons not to cause any unnecessary publicity. I have attended such parties in Bangalore, but not in Chennai. Ofcourse, I have seen orgies in Europe... |

Been to two parties in Chennai long back. Both where organized by chennai-dost. Only decent crowd and where organized in pubs. Since I dont drink i found it bit awkward. Age was another factor. Most of them where in early 20's and i in mid 30's. But finally when TGs started arriving I left the party. Being an introvert i dont like these parties. |

@sasmathu: Now I remember, Chennai Dost used to organize and if I remember in the basement of T-Nagar GRT grand (forgot the restaurant name), there used to be parties.I entered once, felt uncomfortable since I did not want to be amongst so many. Sasmathu is right, usually filled for teenagers/guys in their 20s. |

@Adventure-guy The one which i attended was in T nagar Beemas palace. The other one was in Neelangarai ECR. They organized it well but i felt uncomfortable. |

I actually once organized a pvt party in Mysore almost four years back and it went really great. But it takes lot of effort n concerns with privacy n safety are of utmost importance. It's difficult nowadays to do so either because attitudes don't match or something else. Can't say why |

I haven't exactly participated in a party, but I've been in a steamy group in China hosted by a Singaporean bottom in his 5* hotel suite and there were joints being passed which I didn't indulge in. There was a Chinese gay couple a Turkish top and a well hung black American. Focus was on pleasuring others and that takes care of all the inhibitions about color and orientation. Also had the fortune of being on the sidelines during gay pride in London, that's something to remember ! |

I used to attend chennai dost parties some 5 or 6 years back. It used to happen on saturday nights at ecr or omr guest houses. But it used to be safe , private and not uncomfortable as i worried initially. I got a good friend network there.. we used to meet a bessy every saturday nights .. stopped going to party amd we had our own outings and private parties. Later i moved out of city and lost contact with chennai dost party organizers. Not sure if it's still happening. |

Not sure about the organizers. It was good and met some celebrities too.

Ohh ofcourse private parties take place in the city. Every Saturday.
But YES. It's PRIVATE.
they'll only invite attractive people.
So it's like a group of attractive people socializing with one another. Sometimes, celebrities show up too |

there's one event manager who posts about parties in Chennai. it's happening almost every weekend. after a lot of hesitation, i went out to one event in the ecr. I liked it. but I went alone so I was left out. I was also told that the ecr events are mostly visited by local crowds and the one the cities are much better. it's safe, every one just parties, drinks, dance and some kissing happens too. all across Chennai, there's only one event manager who hosts. |
