Neighborhood: Orleans off Hwy 174.

Nearest Cross Street: Trim Road Exit, Hwy 174.

How to get there: From downtown take HWY 417 to HWY 174. Take the 174 past Place d'Orleans to Trim Road. Turn left on Trim and follow signs to Petrie Island.

Hours: There are a series of parking lots which are open around the clock.

Best times: It varies, usually around noon and afterwork generally.

Who goes there?: Mixed crowd, all ages, often you'll see mixed couples.

Cruisiest spot: The parking lot to the left hand side as you drive towards the back of the lots.

Cruising tips: Just play it casual, stay in your car, or wander into the woods a bit.

Description:

This is a great spot just for hanging out, you'll see a lot of people there during the summer, but you can still cruise the back lot because most people are on the beach.
