Controversial Opinion : Trans-rights.

Lesbian and Gay Communities are one thing.

The problem is when trans people entering the space expecting the same footing as gay and lesbian people.

And these trans voices have become so loud, and they like cancer have entered into every safe space that we have made as gay people.

Now even to educate somebody on how common and normal homosexuality is, the loudest available visual proxy is a trans-person. This is the exact problem with prides, at least this is my hot take on this. It is not just trans-people and their rights in the prides, even drag queens have done a similar damage in terms of average perception for homosexuality in men, in a gender conscious society like India's.

I accept it. Trans people need acceptance and humanity of course. But there is something more that is getting compromised. The image of an average and moderate gay man, who may be achieving big things in life. There is aa breaking point beyond which I too cannot be generous with.

Again, this is purely my personal opinion. Overtime, I may see myself change and I don't know. But as things stand, this is what I think and sustained my belief over the last 10-12 years.
