I believe you have to take prep a week before and after the time period you're planning to have ***
It's not a single day dose
But for a longer course

Take Pre P a week before the decided day
If you miss that immediately start PeP within 24-72hrs window and continue it for next 28 days

PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) and PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis) are medications used to prevent HIV. PrEP is taken daily to prevent HIV infection, while PEP is taken after a possible exposure to HIV. I think you need a doctor's prescription to get them.
