Educated gays in rural India
I'm doctor by profession. I live with my parents in rural area. But I feel alone. Due to scarce population it becomes difficult to find partner nearby. My profession makes it more difficult to open to stranger. Nowadays Covid19 hit so hardly that I can't even meet someone casually. How do you cope up with such situation ? Do you have any solution ? Thanks.

We are all in same boat. The situation is same in urban areas also as we can not meet anyone as it is not safe at present. It is better to do a video call with friends whom you know. We talk and share feelings on video calls and sometimes see each other more closely. It helps |

Befriend someone from the nearly city and go meet him on pretext of work that way u can be discreet and sometimes he can come to you |

It is very difficult for client facing professional. India whether urban or rural is ultra conservative about sexuality. They may be ok to support it online or in virtual world, but when someone is in circle comes out or is exposed then the whole dynamics changes. It is not worth to commit social and career carnage. Better stick with grndr and PR.
I know 1 doctor tried his hand on one of the "over friendly" Medical Rep and the next thing the entire district circuit of MR's was talking about the gud doctor who tried touching the MR. So better keep ur pen is locked up in pant. Better yet, try finding a FB and travel with him to neighbouring cities. |

I am too struggling due to the same profession. It's really difficult for us. But there are times we do meet some good souls on our visits to different towns and cities |
