As we all know there are no gay bars or pubs here where we can interact without the fear of being judged..
How about we create a club for our selves..with a regular meet-up schedule..
I am suggesting we organize a meet-up for 15 people or more bi-weekly or once in a month where we rent cottages or bungalows in different tourist destinations like Kovalam ponmudi etc and we ourselves pay on the cost basis..later we can appoint someone amongst ourselves to be the organizers as in look for places and take care of food arrangements.what say
We will look for such places where the stay and foodwouldnt cost more than 1500-2000
If people are interested I don't mind organising the first meet up maybe in Kovalam?? Thoughts..ideas?

Hi all
This is an idea that cropped up in my head this afternoon and am sure at least a few of us must have thought of it at some point in time or the other..
It's a sad truth that we do not have gay bars or nightclubs here in Trivandrum or let's say Kerala where gay people can meet up and talk freely without the fear of being judged..
So why not we make a meet up group for only gay/bi men? It needn't only be about ***..more of a community where like minded people meet up in a closed group.. although initially it has to be a open group and maybe later one can join only through invites..we can cross that bridge when we get there..
If ohmojo could provide a platform which suits the requirement in the future that would be great..anyways
I am suggesting an overnight trip to kovalam/ any similar tourist destinations for a group of 15 people or so on the third Saturday of next month (september). The cost of the trip to be borne by the participants. I checked the cost at a 'nice' hotel which came upto 21000 for accommodation only which would translate to approx 1500 for accommodation per person. Food may be ordered on ala carte and paid on the spot (this is only to give you all an idea and not final)
We also have to discuss the rules and regulations to abide by including privacy concerns if any like no photographs to be taken or any other concerns which can be discussed and a standard protocol can be devised
The decorum of the group has to be maintained for which a moderator can be elected from amongst the group.
Before setting out for the trip we will have to meet once informally to discuss the nitty gritties.
Hope this sounds like a good plan, I want to list my email id here however that seems to be against the rules of the site.
So requesting you to write in comments regarding your concerns and ideas which could make this work.
Please note again that this is not a booty call that I am making but a place where men can actually meet and maybe feel attracted to another man and possibly try to woo them without the fear of being beaten up!!
Sounds like fun..it sure does to me..unfortunately such a place is non existent in Kerala as of now

A nice initiative guys . I have tried it here in coimbatore but all skeptical if meeting like minded guys in public . My suggestion with too many fear and doubts with g/bi curious guys is that first 6 guys meet up familiarise amongst you then you can try to pitch in your friends or acquaintances into the group so no confusion. I used to host gay meet at my house earlier when family not around . What I faced issue was if one guy gets the attention of two itβs a confusion .a moderator and rules conditions should be clear . I always fantasise these Get together for a nude bath in swimming pool , cuckold , voyeur .

Three years before when I was in Trivandrum we were conducting such gay parties... I have attended twice which was conducted in horizon hotel. In first party i think 13 people participated. Including me only 2 bottom was there and rest 11 were top only . We two adjusted and make satisfies all of them . In second time it was little dangerous. 9 top were there and only me as bottom . It took almost 12 hours to complete the task |
