We all thinking about their preference based on their jobs. But that is not true. I had seen btm police/army/driver guys. Hard core Top IT guys. But BTM guys expecting Police/army/driver tops, it's their preference. Preference may change person to person. |

I feel your sexual preference has nothing to do with your profession |

I have a question. What about a doctor who is a neurosurgeon and another a gynecologist? Who will be the top, and who will be the bottom? The IQs of gays in India are so low. They could only make such weird and illogical correlations. What is the relation between somebody's profession and sexual orientation? What's next? Boys who have elderly or more women in the house are bottom. and boys with elder or younger brothers are mostly the top. Why can't peoples (or gays of India) able to think beyond top and bottom? |

I dont think the role gets decided by profession.. Role is purely depends on individual's likings.. This is nothing to do with profession or any other factor... There is absolutely no logic linking role and profession.. |

I agree that job atmosphere and lifestyle patterns do help in deciding that a guy will be top bottom or vers. because these days a lot of time is spent in the place of work and it somewhere starts to shape the mind of the employees. But i don't think this has much to do with designation or profession. I manager with a soft boss will feel more confident at work and less likely to choose a bottom role as compared to a boss who has a dominating partner at home (or at work).
Bottom line is that whether a person becomes a top or a bottom, is decided by his mindset, lifestyle choices, and natural instincts. The same factors help in deciding the career positions and trajectories. Hence you can say that certain jobs do favor a certain kind of sexual orientation but the main cause is not the job, but the inherent personality of that person. Hope this seals the debate. |

@NeedMen your profile says - I am gay and I want to be a ***.
And you're asking for Why can't peoples (or gays of India) able to think beyond top and bottom?
Coming to the question I know that Attraction is a deeply personal and complex aspect of human behavior influenced by biological, psychological, social, and individual factors. However, in your scenario,
A gynecologist, regardless of gender, works primarily with female patients and may develop a stronger emotional sensitivity toward women due to frequent interactions. This doesn’t necessarily correlate with sexual or romantic attraction but might shape their perception of female experiences.
And this thread is about sharing your views on like if you have met any person from these profession , does the things I mention matches or not .
After your family Profession is what affect your mentality the most and all these things (in your language not top or bottom but being ***) depends upon the mentality only

and this is why there is no stupid question (the person asking it may well still be)! Glad it sparked a discussion though... While there are no stereotypes and labels are only important if it's JW (Blue is my favorite colour :)... but some studies do suggest inverse roles compared to the power dynamics in real.

Trust me profession doesn't matter... But most of the bottom fantasies his top to b rough and tough and top fantasies his bot should b soft submissive....
Its really a childish discussion by connecting profession with interest in ***...
I had *** with 150+ guys as a top and trust me profession is baseless topic to discuss... |
| No Picture love_cruising | Posted On Dec 12, 2024
Interesting topic. @R_K_UP25, you are a great observer. Though others might be critical of this thread. But it needs high IQ, EQ and SQ to find correlation and study this topic. I have observed in the doctors field and verified my conclusions with some community doctor friends as well.
Doctors such as orthopedist, surgeons : Top Doctors such as dermatologist, urologist, gynecologist : Bottom Others might be just Vers.
Overall, doctor community has higher percentage of Gays/Bi, I feel. Obviously after fashion designing.
Now these are not hard defined rules and for sure there are examples that break such hypothesis. But these are seen on majority of cases. |

Well, profession does not decide role. But the macho level may be guiding factor for choosing profession. Role and profession may have one of the many factors to decide profession, but they are not interlinked.
Like, a feminine bottom is not likely to be a masculine and sporty person. And a non sporty and masculine person is not likely to be in defence or police or heavy duty jobs like truck and other heavy machinery operations. |

A person adopts a profession mostly after 20-22. In some fields it may go upto 27. So by ur logic his gay orientation is decided after that age? Wat about before that. I was known about my sexuality much before i passed class 10. That time i had no idea wat profession i will take in future. So this correlation is inappropriate.
More apt will be to discuss about which field have more gays and how easy or difficult it is to be in that profession with ur sexuality. |

I think your sexual preference has nothing to do with your profession. Sexual preference is your inner voice... But A guy can change his preference to satisfy his boss or Colleague in his profession... |

There is no relationship between profession and sexuality.
Bottoming and topping is dependent on how you view it from your perspective.
For me bottoming is like a power I show my clean shave and how a men go crazy and passionate to breed me.
Bottoming a way in which I can control a men body by my hole. How he moan and how badly he wants me.
Topping is also same I can make bottom dream come true by being there for him. Making sweet love to my baby, *** nipples and tummy kiss and lot of *** to *** kiss.
Gayness is not a weakness. It a power. It depends on how you see it.
I can make a men ***... Either he is army, doctor or young.
But I prefer edcuated and professional guys as they are decent and cooperative.

The answer to this question can’t simply be a "Yes" or "No," because the world doesn’t operate in absolutes. More often than not, it exists in a spectrum of gray areas.
Testosterone might play a role in shaping physical and behavioral traits. For instance, regular exercise and strenuous workouts can increase testosterone levels, potentially leading to more traditionally masculine characteristics. Similarly, people who engage in physically demanding work might have higher testosterone levels compared to those with sedentary lifestyles, like desk jobs, who may experience lower testosterone levels, which could influence more effeminate traits. The key takeaway here is that testosterone levels are something you can have some control over through lifestyle choices.
In my own experience, as a child, I wasn’t good at sports or any physically demanding activities compared to my peers. Because of that, I avoided such tasks, which led me to develop a more passive or “bottom” role in certain situations. Whether this was the result of my avoidance of physical activity or if I was simply wired this way from the start is something that can’t be definitively answered. It’s a complex interplay of nature and nurture that’s difficult to untangle |

There's a perception that if a person is masculine, tough and aggressive from outside, he likes to be submissive in bed in his inner side. Because all that aggression is a part of coping with submissive sexual urges. And if a person is friendly, soft spoken and kind hearted, that means he's confident within himself he doesn't need to show agression to cover up inner submissiveness. Such people are rough and agressive in bed because that's their natural tendency. |

I feel like men who haven't met enough gay men think like this.
Jobs, body type, or other things have little to no correlation with preference.
The more men you meet, more you will realise all these stereotypes exist mostly in imagination. |

It's ok.
People are curious and want to ask and understand.. if they don't ask here then where?
It's also important to be patient and provide correct and factual information - without making fun of or looking down on anyone, when responding rather than providing false and nonsensical information. |

The theory is not true. I've had many encounters in India and EU which prove otherwise.
At the psychological level, I think the correlation of being submissive is down to your childhood experiences, like daddy issues or people pleasing personality. And, people with inferiority complex can also become those sub bottoms without any preferences. I once had an experience with a bottom zomato guy in Chennai, he obeyed everything and next thing I notice is blood on the hotel bedsheet because he was too restrained to say no when I was *** him. Likewise, people with superiority complex, be in whatever form - class, race, wealth, tend to be more top or power bottoms. And at the societal level, people from states like Punjab, Haryana and Pakistanis tend to be more top as being called or labelled as "gay" is very much looked down upon and against the toxic masculinity the north Indian states brim with. Lot of them watch a lot of *** and are interested in virtual ***, nobody has actual ***, even if they do, its mostly when high, or at an emotionally detached level. As a top, when I meet other bottoms from Punjab or Pak, they turn out to be sides and they just do *** between the thighs thing or mutual wanking, no kissing etc. Just an observation.
Being located now is UK, its a very equal society and there's no class or wealth gap here, so this correlation of white collar, blue collar isn't even valid here in this context. |
| No Picture Sandeephard | Posted On Dec 15, 2024
@Aspreet88 In India, whether from North or south, blue collar or white collar, imo accepting oneself as a bottom has more to do with crossing a mental barrier. In a homophobic society like India, less men are ready to accept themselves as bottoms, particularly in state/districts with too much toxic masculinity, like you said. Because if they accept themselves as bottoms, it leads to mental conflicts and struggles in this society. They would rather supress their urges because in our bigoted country, those few hours of pleasure may not be worth the lifetime of mental struggle regarding identity "as a man".
Indian/paki bottoms particularly out and proud or submissive ones, are very brave, they go against so much to freely be who they really are.
P.S. @Aspreet88 love the body hair brother |
| No Picture MiBussy | Posted On Dec 15, 2024
There's so much to learn from others' experiences and observations.
So it's important to have a healthy and balanced discussion with all the necessary facts and figures, so that all can discuss and learn, and so, dispel myths, falsehoods and/or rumors.
I understand and accept cultural notions and conditioning as @Aspreet88 and @Sandeephard pointed out and there's no one particular reason why one enjoys being or wants to be a top or bot.
Also whether or not I accept it, I understand @Sandeephard's point of mental barrier..
Sometimes there may not (or shouldn't be) any particular reason too.. it's just what one wants. And it shouldn't be seen as less masculine or less manly just because one is a bot or more masculine or more manly just because one is a top..
Let's discuss another aspect.. in heterosexual relationships or marriages, there are instances where women are more dominant in bed, not because the man has any issues or is less manly but because that's what they prefer and enjoy, and vice versa. So that doesn't make a woman more masculine just because she's more dominant in bed, nor does it make a man less masculine just because he's passive in bed.. it's just how they prefer...
*** is absolutely healthy and normal... there's no aspect or act in ***/sexual relationships that should be looked down or deemed unhealthy upon just because of people's personal preferences irrespective of their careers, roles, life experiences, etc... Just visit Khajuraho mandir.. we belong to the land of Kamasutras... if you know what I mean...
On another note, there are people who don't indulge in sexual relationship of any kind because of religious reasons, or other personal reasons or beliefs, or they're asexual, or could be that they indulge in non penetrative *** (no oral, no ***, no vaginal..). So again, this shouldn't imply that there's something wrong with them, or things like that. They're just who they are. Just normal people. |

I think both @sandeephard and @aspreet88 are both right, just in different approaches
In india, the biggest hurdle one faces in accepting the bottom side is shame. Bottoms in my time, specially if you got anally *** was akin to being a eunuch/woman. I found this out the hard way a few times when I met people i knew in real life sexually.
They had no problems pounding me but then, it seemed like they had no respect for me anymore or avoided me till they needed to get their *** serviced.
That basically makes one think one has no self worth and gives bottoms an inferiority complex. Where we will do anything for tops even if its degrading for us. I have been in many situations like the zomato guy in @aspreet88's example and never said a word. And usually, tops never stop. They continue till they are done.
Its fucks some of us so much that its sometimes the only kind of *** one craves. |

It depends on person to person. A person can be aggressive inside but his profession may be complete opposite. so its choices in bed and career. Most people take professions based on their experience/education to make money. so not sure how we can relate money making with personal bed choices. And like most places i think it will be a mix of all in same pool. yet, our eyes look for our attraction, A top searches for btm and vice versa. so based on our exposure to a profession we find tops/btms in that profession based on our attration. |

I said, "Why can't people (or gays of India) be able to think beyond top and bottom?" READ and ANALYZE what it says. If you need ***; have ***. By equating professional roles /jobs with *** roles has to be the dumbest stuff ever. Sexual roles are fluid inrespect to choices, willingness, exploring ideas etc. "A person in corporate will be bottom or sub bottom " like srsly? Are u going around sleeping with every guys who are in corporate? Every profession has their own stress so saying just because they are stressed that's why they are bottom is illogical too. |

@ ohdesiguy you are so right being bottom biggest problem is the shame feeling & afraid of being known to other. The top will want you to *** him drink *** *** rim him but once this started they will tell they cannot kiss any more as they feeling disgusting now to think about kiss anymore. We lose all our respect wants to continue anyhow. You get used to it & feel satisfied with whatever you get. I would say there is not much of a correlation between profession and their type in bed. But there is a trend towards maths loving/engineers falling towards more sort of top to vers spectrum and biology lovers/doctors falling towards vers or bottom spectrum. Obviously it's just an observation, and quite always have abundant outliers. |
