This is nice idea, I like the concept pls do this asap, I was in Germany, it's common practice that LGBT guys wear earings on right ear for easy identification.
It helps to find like-minded people.
Wearing ring in middle finger is nice idea, easy to identify and we can approach too without hesitation.
Black ring in middle left finger is what I suggest.
1) It didn't bring u wanted attention.
2) Generally male wear rings in right hands in Indian culture. Hence left finger is more suitable for identification.
3) Black rings are easily available in market.
Don't confuse with left n right and much colorful stuff, as this will draw unwanted attention. Our society is too much resistant to homo people.

I feel the Color can’t be a common Color like black white silver gold … it has to be unique that other people won’t wear by mistake … since I have never seen anyone with a yellow ring that that I picked that colour
Lots of people accessories these days and it can’t clash with a random person wearing a ring to match his clothes
The earring was a good idea but a lot of men wear earrings these days so it’s not helpful
Can add a gesture or handshake … but it has to be unique… different and not get unwanted attention |

All remember, *** is in the eyes. you don't need any accessories, imagine bunch of guys with handkerchief hanging from their back pockets. All you do is look into the eyes, if they are straight or not interested, they will look away, if they are interested, they will hold the gaze more than 10-15 sec.
Also if you walk past them and they turn back to see u, it is a fair game.

Need not to be left and right hand; the ring can be worn on the middle finger of any hand by gay top and on the small finger by gay bottom. This way by choosing the smaller finger, the gay bottom can also convey his subservient nature to the gay top. |

Can we try this?
1. Make a fist out of your left hand with the THUMB inside.
2. Stick the thumb out from inside so that it is between 2 fingers on each side(picture a *** between 2 balls)
3. Unique..but not strange. Non offensive. Easy to maintain for hours. Easy to let go if we are not interested.
4. We can add an extra layer to be more safe—if you see anyone with this hand gesture, brush your left hand across your forehead while maintaining the gesture. If the other guy responds, have fun!
It sounds primitive but simplest solutions are always more effective.

1) Eye Contact : Why take such efforts of staring into the eyes of even straight guys & wait for the response !? 🙄
2) Bluetooth : Disclosing all details including mobile no. is risky as it can be misused.
3) Apps like Grinder etc. : There are many who like discreet encounters. So these apps are of no use to them.
It should be simple & easily identifiable.
Instead of ring, I prefer the idea of friendship band. It's more noticeable than the ring.
Top 👉🏻 Red color band, Right hand
Bottom 👉🏻 Yellow color band, left hand.
Versatile 👉🏻 Red & Yellow color bands : 2 bands, Right hand.
Whatever be it, guys need to arrive at a concensus and start implementing asap 👍🏻

Let's keep the idea of rings, buttons and colours aside for a while. Why not use this technique?
If u are interested in a guy, try stroking both your eyebrows with the middle finger and later gently rub lower part of your lip seeing him. Maybe this can make him understand that you are interested in guys. And so if he shows interest, have a small convo with him about preferences and place. If everything goes well go on with the flow else, try for a new guy |

u agree eye contact and few gestures are good as a signal and if you feel bold enough you can actually walk up to that person and say hi etc.. and ask if he needs anything
like with me it has happened a bunch of times where i would simply look into the eyes, if we make frequent eye contacts that means it a signal , if not if the guy doesn't look back then NO
this might get backfired too sometimes, as the other person might approach you first and ask 'what happen', then be prepared to answer that or handle that situation |

interesting idea ! 🤔, however, in public it's hard to have a clue, even though eyes meet. No one approaches easily.
In the West they have club going culture so color coded wrist bands were used. Nowadays apps are used to meet people.
However if anyone is making this clues, I would like a blue 💙 wrist band for us those who identify as a SIDE.
