Hii i went this amaavasay jan 29 from Bangalore wanted to share my experience.
Ya it is happening place but u need to find right match there which is difficult as there will be variety of crowd and majority are couples or in groups . If u find good one its ur luck . I found 1 guy whom i liked after 2 hrs of roaming around there and waiting . And if u want to do fun in fields there is risk of others disturbing u and snakes / insects might be there . U need to be quick to do fun and find good safe place there. Transgender also quite irritating but manageable if not interested tell no . Going alone is riskier u need to be more careful stay with crowd and dont go to too dark places . Place is not too far from temple so its fine . And about rooms to stay majority of lodges there not giving for single individuals only few r ok to give room and costing 1000 per night . Food is ok many outslets at street u can manage . If u like outdoor and want to explore once u can definitely visit this place with few precautions.

I went there jan29 first time. It's happening. It's very near to temple and that place is like a Heaven for LGBTQ community. Particularly I feel that. because I can be my self. I explored my real feelings there. I was very happy. I did not have fun but I feel that I'm an angel in my heaven. It's true that I should not go to so dark place and have to be careful. You have to be with crowd only for your safety. And I am going to every month of ammavasai. |

hiii @rogertoni22 last month amavasya there were less people around 100 to 200,some guy there told its very less bcoz of weekday if amavasya falls on weekend more crowd expected. You will find variety of crowd, there r manly tops too but depends if u both like each other and u shld find safe place there to do fun. |

Hi @Arjunreddyy as i saw there TGs are commercial and depends on them how u bargain and be careful when approaching . I saw one fight there that one guy went with TG thinking she has only female part but later he saw male part and was scolding her and he was not ready to pay so some fight was going on. Be careful. Many TGs will be approaching you there. |

On jan 29th I went, reached around 5pm waited to get a bit dark.
By 6pm I started to walk around, already people started roaming around the fields.
This jan month was heavy crowd because of “Thai ammavasai”. I was already pretty hard seeing the crowd, so once i reached the spot, I had men’s crossing me grabbing my crotch, n feeling my stick..
