my knowledge is limited. but i think hiv and herpes cannot be cured. i am very scared of catching any std, so i never really dared to have any hard fun, even though i have desire to fulfil my fantasies.

after reading the stories on this forum, once i decided to take a massage at tejas in t nagar. i reached and wandered many times outside the place, but eventually still did not get courage to go inside and have fun because of the uncertainty about the encounter and fear of dirty illnesses. same for krishnaveli theatre. i only saw from outside but never went inside.

@newbieforum Always practice safe ***. When you visit public places like theatres and massage centres, it is better to be careful. I appreciate you for that. But fear shouldn't inhibit you from doing the things you like. You can visit a good massage centre. Always have a look at the man's lips and genitals before you touch them. Better not kiss and masseurs if they aren't hygienic. And again, always use a condom. Good luck. Adventure is fun!

PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE - You might have practised a safe *** but how safe is your partner ? Nobody comes to bed with you a wholistic medical record. Even your hard on love bite could be a potential carrier.

No necessarily HIV but other STDs can also spread. Choose your partner with care and always limit the number of partners you bed with. Lesser the risk when you sleep with lesser people. Don't participate in random orgies. Just borrowing a traffic safety slogan "ORGIES CAN THRILL BUT MIND THAT THEY CAN KILL" .

Personal hygiene is utmost important and so is your self control.

Physical affection can be shown through kissing, hugging. You might think "one time won’t matter." But one time does matter. Talk to your partner about STD, Honest and clear communication is important to any relationship. If both are aware about the STDs then we can procced our play with utmost fun.

Condoms, sterile hands after touch, *** wash should be the ground rules to follow after act. I always have this set in my bag. Always bottom is on higher risk as per my understanding. You are responsible for your health, therefore, you are responsible for your protection.

It is impossible to know whether someone has an STD. Don’t assume that someone who looks "shady" has an STD and someone who looks "clean cut" doesn’t. You can’t tell if someone has an STD by looking at them. Don’t rely on your impression that he or she is "nice" and, therefore, is safe.

I personally follow these, I always start fun in mutual bathing and make my partner comfortable from my point of view. Holds a tissue in act to make sure precum not discharged to my partner. Preferably go with the clean shaved one and insist the same before meetup. No meets during coughs colds and sick feel. Pre check on *** ulcers and cuts and wounds in physic. Above said are examined self before meet. So that no last minute surprises and ends the deed.

Suggestions welcome.

Better be safe than sorry
Always practice safe ***! Never involve in *** *** without condoms unless you ad your partner are strictly monogamous and that too after all the tests.( Hope and Pray your partner doesnt cheat behind your back.Don't loose you future over a few minutes of pleasure.
Oral *** does transmit STDs. HIV, Herpes and Hepatitis are not curable
And don't ever use *** wash right after oral ***. It exposes the oral mucosa to microbes. Abstinence and masturbation helps.
Blind dates and hookups are no no

Not sure if you know about PrEP (Pre exposure prophylaxis) its he same combination of drugs used to treat HIV +ve people but taken by people to avoid any chance of infection. Its not 100% safe but still a lot safe. Its a big thing here in the US and you can get it almost for free. Though the first month causes a lot of side effects not limited to nausea and upset stomach. People say they are negative and on PrEP and wanna have bareback but even when you take it ,its always advised to have safe ***

A lot of people for the fact think its fully safe to have oral ***. A wired misconception that is plaguing the LGBT community for a long time. Only *** *** causes HIV. Mostly people think STD means HIV. People forget the fact that there are numerous STD's that will make your life messy and may be even worse spoil your life and career. For instance Herpes can be easily caught by mere plain kissing and you can pass this on to your wife or your partner putting your marriage at stake. Syphilis is said to be a homosexual disease and if you are caught with that disease its embarrassing as it is a notifiable disease which means your family members will be notified and tested for the same.

STD's are not only in your *** it can be in your inner thighs, ***, ***, scrotum, in your other parts of the body, lips, *** and even hands...

if you think oral *** is safe you are an *** as many of the STD's freely transmit to and fro by oral ***. Recently an article in newspaper reminded of the fact that India and specifically TN has seen a spurt in STI's in young adults and adoloscents who most of the time engage in *** without protection thinking that they are he-mans and super-mans and that it does nothing to them because they are physically fit. The need of the hour is to educate people on various forms of STI's .Remember the golden rule, Its always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to STI's as viral like warts, herpes are NOT curable.

Before dropping your pants to some one else you winked at or a stranger you drooled at or a person who you have just met in a park or for the matter for a few precious minutes in the inside benches of KV or the breezy nights of marina shore or any other spots where you linger always beware in mind that your life is more precious than few minutes of *** with unknown strangers...Its good to read peoples experiences and put yourself in that position for the spot but remember there has been a spurt in STI's in the recent decade and every 5th person who has had active *** will have an STI or is in the past infected with an STI and still he can pass that infection even if the disease is in dormant stage.

This post is not to scare you but to educate you as many people fall victims and cycled in the trap. Be cautious and have safe *** with safe people.

@raja bot, thank you very much for once again sharing opinions on safe *** practices. Especially about risks of std's. People just think.of hiv as sexually transmitted disease. But there are so many other infections that could easily get transmitted especially warts which not only affect genitals but also hands too. So even a mutual shagging sometimes can transmit warts to you. So guys nothing is safe.

@ rajabot...thanks for your highly informative post..one more subtler aspect about promiscuous ***, apart from the possibility of getting Std's or other diseases is that, one acquires some of the karmas of the persons with whom he sleeps, results of which will manifest later on in life as some form of bad luck, ill health, unpleasant mind states etc...

Syphilis is a homosexual disease? Nope... No disease is a homosexual or heterosexual disease... Oral and *** are common for all... I don't understand your point

HPV, hepatitis b & c, herpes, hands foot virus, meningitis, stomatitis, pox viruses like latest monkey pox, many flue viruses.
Apart from HIV all these are caught by oral ***, later gay men will transmitt them to children in their families.
Final victims will be wife's & children

I think most people understands the risks associated with oral *** and yet almost everyone engage in it. Honestly, I think most people carry some of the other disease and most might not even know about them.

The problem is, some of these STDs are not cured permanently but managed. Just make sure they are at a level so it doesn't infect other.

Guys. Is receiving oral *** without a condom safe in terms of HIV?

No @Ajudesh. Transmission can happen during oral *** as well. You can use flavoured condoms during oral *** for safety. You can also use prep for safety whenever you know you'll be sexually active
