I have been there. If u r going all the way from delhi, it is not worth it. Place, people and facilities are all low class. Many times electricity will not be there for hours (not good thing in month of July/August type). Some cruising happens, but in my opinion you can do that in delhi itself instead of going 170km away.
The ghat/Mandir area is nice. Evening aarti is good (I know we are not going for religious reasons but still). |

Annual Kurukshetra mahostav is going on till 24 dec attracting huge tourism. Best time of the year to visit. Many haryanvi desi guys stay around brahm sarovar. Jat Dharmshala/gujar dharmshala is the stay spot. |
